Farm workshop at the 1880 DeVore Farm at the Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 W Museum Blvd in Wichita, Kansas on September 24, 2026. The space is constructed of weathered wooden planks and illuminated by natural light through multi-pane windows. A workbench holds antique tools, a vise, and a red wooden tray, while a green cast-iron tractor seat embossed “DEERE & MANSUR CO. MOLINE, ILL.” hangs on the wall—linking the scene to early John Deere manufacturing history. Other artifacts, including a kerosene lantern, saw, and pulley, evoke the ingenuity and labor of frontier craftsmanship preserved in Cowtown’s historical exhibits.
