Coquina outcropping on the Marineland Beach at the River to Sea Preserve at 9805 N Ocean Shore Blvd in Palm Coast, Florida on December 7, 2018. Coquina rock is a mixture of shells and quartz sand--formed by nature hundreds of thousands of years ago.
