Bare bristlecone pine trees against a clear, blue sky along the Bristlecone Loop trail at Rainbow Point Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah on October 29, 2011. Bristlecone pine trees are one of earth's oldest life forms at approximately 1,600 years old. The thing is, are these still alive?
