Dawson City is located at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers in Yukon, Canada. This is where the famous Klondike Gold Rush took place in 1896.

This photo was captured on July 21, 1992 from the top of the Midnight Dome overlooking the city. Midnight Dome Road takes you 2,900 feet above sea level--allowing a panoramic view of the Klondike Valley, the Sixty Mile country and the Yukon River.
