Chief Washakie
Chief Washakie statue inside the Wyoming State Capitol building at 200 W 24th Street in Cheyenne, Wyoming on October 15, 2021. Chief Washakie of Shoshone Tribe lived for about 100 years during the 19th century. He was a warrior, peace negotiator, friend of Brigham Young and the leader of the Eastern Shoshones.
