Old House chamber
Old House of Representatives chamber in the Virginia State Capitol at 1000 Bank Street in Richmond, Virginia on December 15, 2014. The statue was of General Robert E. Lee stands where Lee stood on April 23, 1861, when at the age of 54 he accepted command of the military forces of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
