I may have to return to Atlanta to photograph more of the Georgia State Capitol. During my visit, construction was underway on the exterior of the building. The rotunda and inner dome were not accessible due to the raising of a huge Christmas tree. The chamber balconies were locked--although I was granted access for a couple of minutes to capture a few images. Finally, the lighting was very harsh as bright sunlight was streaming through many of the uncovered windows. Chances are that things couldn't be much worse during a return visit!
