The recycled roadrunner sculpture is located in a rest area off Interstate 10 just outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico. The massive sculpture measures 40 feet across and 20 feet high. It is made out of multimedia recycled elements like Volkswagen headlights, used sneakers, golf clubs, a trophy, old plastic toys, metal from the City of Las Cruces’ recycling center, and things gathered from local thrift stores.
