On the afternoon of December 17, 2008, I walked out to the 18th green at George Dunne National Forest Preserve Golf Course in Oak Forest, Illinois. The temperature was under 20 degrees, yet the flag was still on the green!

There's nothing worse for a golfer than snow covered fairways and greens--along with temperatures below 20 degrees.
