Terrace elk
A female elk stands on the upper terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone Park, Wyoming (July, 1995).
At first, I thought I was very fortunate to capture the elk in this scenic position. Later, I discovered that several elk enjoy spending time on these terraces.
