Omaha Police Department at 505 S 15th Street in Omaha, Nebraska on May 25, 2026. Brutalist architecture was highly favored for city halls and police departments in the 1960s and 1970s. Its massive geometric forms, exposed concrete, and fortress-like construction were designed to project power, permanence, and civic authority.
