I met this group of motorcyclists at the Mission San Rafael Arcángel. They were touring all 21 of the California missions--just as I was. All of us were on our second mission, having started at the northernmost one in Sonoma earlier that day.
One of the motorcyclists was a pastor. He gathered the group around me and prayed for my safe journey and for me to capture inspirational photos of the missions.
