This road trip covered 4,695 miles in 17 days. Death Valley was the furthest destination from home, but the trip encompassed far more than Death Valley. Significant photo shoots took place at the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and various sites along the historic Route 66.

The trip wasn't without challenges. Half of my planned photo locations within Death Valley were inaccessible due to flash floods in September taking out roads. The Petrified Forest National Park was closed entirely due to the government shutdown. And the weather turned ugly once I hit Oklahoma City.

Overall it was another successful road trip with an all electric vehicle.
