The Chapel
Wren Building at the West End of Duke of Gloucester Street on the campus of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia on July 25, 2019. With a construction history dating to 1695, it is the oldest academic building in continuous use in the United States. The College was closely affiliated with the Church of England throughout the colonial period. While the college no longer has an official religious affiliation, the Chapel continues to be used for worship services held by campus ministries of many faiths.
