I visited Viera and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge during a prior visit to Florida. In fact, some of my favorite photographs were captured at Viera Wetlands. I've been hearing that the area isn't nearly as active as it once was with birds...is that the case still?
Much of this trip will be centered around architecture. As you can tell by the itinerary, I'll be spending time in some of the major cities (i.e., Tampa, Miami) and the college campus at Gainesville. I'm doing this because despite 6 or 7 trips to Florida, I haven't explored those cities at all. Of course, I'll be mixing this in with a lot of nature photography...and some wildlife.
