For my next photography project, I will be visiting the 21 Missions of California:

My plan is to visit each of the 21 Missions of California during the summer of 2016. In addition to the missions, there are several other interesting locations included on my itinerary:

• Mono Lake
• Bodie Ghost Town
• Lake Tahoe
• Point Lobos
• Disney Concert Hall
• Griffith Observatory
• Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels
• Nixon and Reagan Presidential Libraries (and maybe even Truman on the drive home)
• San Diego Zoo
• Geisel Library
• Scripps Pier, La Jolla
• Salton Sea
• Salvation Mountain
• Joshua Tree National Park
• And More...

This is a trip packed with photo opportunities as well as opportunities to visit family along the way. I'm dedicating nearly a month to complete it--including the drive from Chicago and back. Soon, I'll be sharing a more specific itinerary as part of this blog.
